Biography:

Jade Ravenscar is a unique Shadow Hunter...a shadow hunter who doesn't always play by the rules. Jade wasn't always this way but, a few events in her life caused her to become a fighter.

Jade grew up in a small family of just her father and mother but, also as a Shadow Hunter as most Nephilim do. Her family was considered to be one of the least known Shadow Hunter families due to a family member in her family tree. Eloisa Ravenscar was the first Shadow Hunter of her family to betray the Clave. She fell in love with her parabatai and because of their romance was discovered her lover, Silas Pagborn had killed himself. Since Eloisa the family named was shamed and many other Shadow hunter families like the Lightwoods and Fairchilds grew to disown her family. Although their named was shamed both Jade's parents never let that get in the way of their loyalty to the Clave.

Jade had a normal childhood filled with fun, games and a good education. She was a very bright girl and learned as much as she could and then some. Jade was always fascinated with books and writing stories of her own. When she turned 8 years of age her father began to train her in the fighting styles of Aikido and also how to use weapons such as swords and bows. He felt that with all these techniques she would become a strong woman and that she would not need to rely on a partner in battle. By the age of 10 years old that all changed. Jade was now old enough to work alongside the Clave and receive runes that would help her in her life as a Shadow Hunter. Also at this age she was also given a parabatai to work along with her; his name was, Endymion.

Endymion was a good friend of hers and together they grew up into well rounded Shadow Hunters. They attended the same Academy growing up and together they learned how to work side by side. They were the top ranking Shadow Hunters of their age group and no one could get past them. Jade was the highest ranking of their age group because, The Clave said she had a way with drawing runes with ease. Jade was so conceited from this and she looked down at a lot of her fellow Academy Classmates. She would judged them if they lost to her in battle or if they could not answer a professor right away when a question was asked. Jade wanted to make sure that she was the best and that her powerful skills would show her fellow classmates that she would be a Shadow Hunter to remember and that she would be the reason for her family to become a top ranking Shadow Hunter family. When situations like this occurred, Endymion kept her in place constantly reminding her to keep her attitude in check and to be honorable of those around her. She would apologize from time to time but, she was always such a spitfire.

As she reached the end of her Academy training it was time for her and her parabatai to become full fledged members of the Clave. They would soon be sent to missions all over the world and to stop Downworlders from attacking innocent human beings. In their beginning years Jade and Endymion would save a ton of areas from many different groups and never leave traces of their attacks. They were swift assassins of the bad guys and once again Jade developed a complex that no one could stop her. During a more recent battle that soon all changed. Jade and Endymion were working on a mission to save a apartment complex from being run down by vampires. All was going at well at first when suddenly Endymion and Jade were surrounded by Vampires. They were ambushed in a way where they honestly thought they would never escape. Somehow during the battle Jade was able to escape but, when she turned around it was too late for her parabatai. He was attacked and by the time she was able to kill the remaining Vampires her parabatai was already in transitioning to the Downworlder breed. Jade knew that she had to kill him but, she didn't have the heart to do so. That day Endymion escaped and she told him to never to return because, she knew if they ever crossed paths again, The Clave would want her to kill them.

Its been two years since the attack and The Clave has had her work on her own. Jade hates working with others since her parabatai was changed. Jade has transformed herself as a person and a shadow hunter. She meditates and works out constantly to make sure her body is in top shape to battle against the creatures she hates most. Not only does she keep her body in shape but, she uses her feminine qualities to her advantage. Jade has a way with words and knows how to wrap both men and women around her finger. With these techniques she finds killing downworlders and tracking down anyone who tries to destroy the human race fairly easy. Jade is also a promiscuous woman and has never been tied down to a single soul for a long time. She knows death comes with the territory of her career and no matter the cause she is willing to die in honor to protect The Clave and also those who need saving from the Downworlders. Jade is one female to be careful with...If you ever betray her be warned...you will wish you never got in her way in the first place.
