Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
“Look straight ahead, there’s nothing left to see
What’s done is done, this life has got its hold on me
Just let it go, what now can never be
I forgot that I might see
So many beautiful things
I forgot that I might need
To find out what life could bring
Beautiful things…”

Just let it go, what now can never be
I forgot that I might see
So many beautiful things
I forgot that I might need
To find out what life could bring
Beautiful things…”
The music was playing and Jade was swaying her hips letting the beat of the music taking over her. Tonight was her night and she wanted to dance and let nothing get in her way. A few women and men came her way and she didn’t mind dancing with them. Tonight’s night started off with a rather interesting gentlemen; a faerie man.
You wanna play huh, she thought to herself.
She was use to his kind coming her way; always trying to get a quick meal off of her. Did they not sense that she was a Shadow Hunter...no worries she could use a little attention right.
They walked over to the bar where he bought her a drink asking for her name. She always gave them a false name like Kelly, Anastasia...whatever that came to mind. She would buy the strongest shot hanging onto him as if she was captivated by his essence. His hands traveling her waist as he whispered sweet things into her ears. She would lean in and giggle talking sweet things to him as well. A few kisses here and there and of course she would lead him to the back of the club, towards the back where she was sure he’d try to take her life.
As soon as he leaned in she reached down underneath her dress and pulled out a medium sized Seraph blade. She hid it underneath her hand and as soon as he went in for the attack Jade launched the blade deep within his neck. His eyes became stunned as she carved the rune fire into his neck and into his chest. The Faerie burned into ground leaving a small trail of ashes behind. No one was around nor able to see what she did so she carefully kicked the ashes as she moved swiftly among the floor. Not the best way to start the night but, at least she got a free drink out of the deal; now only if she could find someone to bring home for the night.
As she tried to get back to the dance floor she heard a sharp sound come through her hidden earpiece. Did The Clave need her for something right now; especially when she wanted to have fun tonight. She went back by the bar to read the message. It seemed that there was a Warlock that she needed to capture in this club. He was considered dangerous but, that didn’t bother Jade at all. She loved a bit of a good chase here and there.
God, where are you hiding you little bastard. I guess I need to find you then huh...Let’s play, she thought.
Begin
I watched the Shadowhunter dust the little fairy playboy, thinking she was utterly discreet in the matter. Any warlock worth his ilk could sense the intensity of the angelic runes emanating from her lithe body, not to mention that any life form with a set of eyes could trace the intricate tattoos networking her body. I watched as her facial expressions altered for a moment to annoyance and then her eyes began to scan the club.
Seems I've finally pinged on their radar.
I smoothed my hands down my silken vest beneath my leather duster and strode forward to stand beside her.
I cupped her chin and smiled, "Looking for someone?" My eyes flashing with cat-like luminosity.

"Well Hello There, Pretty Boy..."
That voice...was that the warlock I was looking for, she thought.
She turned around to see a man slightly taller then she was...at least by a foot or so. She looked down at her phone and saw he matched the exact description of the man she needed. All eyes in the club were on them; she had to think fast.
"Oh my God heyyy," she said pulling him over to the side.
Jade wrapped herself along his arm gently pulling him to the side making the interaction as casually as she could make it. She held his hand now leaning into his ear to tell him something.
"Okay listen...I don't know why The Clave wants you but, we can do this a few ways. You can leave with me now and we'll go on our way...or...The Clave can have you with a few injuries here or there. Your choice Warlock, I'm following orders."
She stepped back a bit still hanging onto him now looking as if she was just telling him a silly secret. She didn't want to scare the club goers. She continued to look him in the eyes now using her other hands to fix a necklace between her chest. It was a cross necklace that was disguised with many seraph blades. It was now up to the warlock to make his choice of action.
Chase me
I took her wrist lightly, rubbing circles along her wrist.
"The clave? Now why is a pretty little thing like you saying such a dirty word?"
I took her wrist firmly and twirled her around before slamming her back against me forcefully.
To anyone else we were just two lovers in an intimate dance. I slid my hand down her tight stomach and swayed my hips in tune with hers as the music swept us away in its crescendo, passions flowing.
I breathed hot against her ear, "Is it the clave that wants me? Or you?" And just as she leaned in to me, I affixed a pair of runic cuffs around her wrist and melted like shadows into the crowd.
My final words a kiss on her neck.
Come chase me.

Are you kidding me...
She had to admit he was good. The way he kept up that dance it put her into a trance for a moment. He was strong and she didn't think that he was that strong. He looked young but, that was a thing about Warlocks...they have that way of disguising their age. As he spoke into her ears her eyes shut, she found his voice captivating. Ugh why was this warlock out beating her charms...it was driving her mad. Before she knew it, he was escaping and what....she had handcuffs?!
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME," she growled under her breath.
The warlock was gone and she was trying to get them off her wrist. They were tight and she hated being confined unless it was for certain pleasureful reasons. This wasn't the case though. She tried reaching for a seraph trying to cut the item off of her but, there was no use. What kind of spell did he put on these exactly. She closed her eyes to stop thinking about them and she had to search for him now because, he was getting away. She closed her eyes trying to sense the direction he went. When she opened them she had saw a small bit of him pass by as he headed for the rooftop.
Get back here you fucking bastard, she thought still struggling to get the cuffs off her wrists.
She finally got to the rooftops finally and since she was ignoring the cuffs somehow they disappeared. She looked down in shock not sure how that worked. What kind of spells was this man using in the first place. She didn't want to get into it right now because he was escaping further and further over the rooftops. She reached to the back of her dress pressing a blue device on the back of her zipper. Out appeared a bow and arrow set; she was ready to hunt this warlock down. Hoping around she finally landed feet away from him.
"Are you gonna stop running or am I going to have to hurt you," she yelled.

Exhilarate
I gathered the winds around me and elation surged through my system.
"Zephyris onward!"
I planted my feet firmly at the end of my stride and vaulted through the air twisting so my world revolved upside down and I smiled blowing a kiss of harmless blue flames back at her. As the flame reached its apex it exploded into marvelous fireworks, the words,
Let's Continue Our Dance, engraving themselves upon the tapestry of the air.
I landed and the world righted itself as I tumbled to break my fall, never yielding in my rush.
The wind adheres to no one but itself.

GET.BACK.HERE.
Jumping rooftop to rooftop was a bit strenuous but, she was a strong trained female and she knew what her body was capable of. She was willing to follow this warlock through the night. He was fast and she was willing to admit but, she is just as capable as catching up to him. This was a very important thing to The Clave and she'd hate to fail them once again. She had failed them once in the past and it ate her up for the longest time and she refused to let him get away. Finally she took a tumble onto the rooftop that he was on. The warlock stood there with a face like he was ready to fight.
"Listen here...Its a simple thing....go to The Clave clear your name...whatever it is. Just let me help you. If my assignment was to see you dead then hey you would have been dead. They clearly just need to talk to you. Is that a hard concept to understand," she sighed.
She got down on her knees and pulled the arrows into her bow. She was ready to attack if she needed to.
"I don't want to hurt you...I am giving you a chance and I don't do that all the time so...consider yourself very lucky."

Impudence
"Lucky? Is that how you would choose to coin the phrase, I become a pawn of the Clave or I get to be your personal pin cushion?"
I eyed her warily, such a calm and collected look on such a creature of beauty, her stance perfect, bow poised with lethal intent at my heart.
Oh this one could kill me, definitely. Well, the old me anyways.
I wanted to see the beauty beneath her surface pleasures and blinked, my eyes sharpening to those of the cat of my heritage and beckoned the wind to draw her essence to me.
She was brilliant.
A kaleidoscope of empyreal gold, crimson lotus red, and vigorous orange. I scanned her body, every rune igniting white almond light to the mix and her body mapped her life's journey to me. Bravery runes across her heart, dexterity where her wrists met her shapely hands, knowledge and insight at her temples, perseverance along her thighs. Her aura rose from her body and showered me with details of her life and I was...transfixed.
What was it with this girl? This sheer inundation of life.
My winter blues, violet hazes and somnolent velvets danced across hers and I drew my blade.
I will spare her this night.

Help Me...Help You
"A pawn...I don't think they would hurt you. They've been pretty well with Downworlders lately. There has been talk of something happening. I don't know the extent of the details but, they are just gathering information from all over. Sir, I believe that's all they need from you," Jade tried to explain.
It was true or at least that was what the elders have been telling her lately. She hated that this guy was so set on not following her. She didn't want to seduce him or anything because, he seemed different from some of the other downworlders she has dealt with in the past. He seemed so dark yet deep within his gaze should could tell he had a heart of gold. It was buried somewhere deep within him right now.
She wanted to show him that she meant no harm; she knew this was stupid to try. She was running out of options and she was getting a bit tired from all she had done just to keep up with him; not to mention the alcohol from the evening was stating to get to her. She placed the bow back into its holder now resting her hand onto her head.
"So what do you say," she asked again.

Really now
"You can't bottle the wind autumn one, even if yours is the light that heralds the end, I must refuse politely and ask that you leave."
Did I want her to leave? When examining my thoughts I realized...no, something in her calls to me, something I must see, but I would trade freedom for no one, and no thing, and no power between Heaven, Hell or Earth.
"You do not simply track someone down with a record such as mine to be able to simply absolve the supposed sins your Clave stacks against me."
Asmodeus I whisper, my tongue tracing the flat of my blade and she roared to life, blue flames and twisting darkness extending the blade beyond even my height. Through our forged bond however, she was weightless, a graceful dove that's wings spanned the skies.
Cold fire sprang forth from within my reservoir of power to encapsulate my body and to cross paths with my blade.
"Come forth autumn, if you dare, but do not forget that ultimately you shall be claimed by winter.

Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
"Damn, slow night for me" Endymion sighs as he returns to his humble abode of a run down apartment he claimed for himself and sets his equipment on his work table. "I did have my fill but not what I usually like" Now Endymion has changed a lot since he was turned. ..his hair is now a dark blue with red highlights instead of his former dark brown. He has a dark trench coat to hide his weapons when he goes out, and without it he still has a way, his skin a bit paler than his human self, he is a lot more agile and stronger than he was as a human so thats a plus. From time to time he still thinks of the Clave and Jade, he still tries to look out for her but so he doesn't get killed permanently, he keeps his distance. He already has downworlders try to hunt him down cause he gets in their way. So as he sits down and twirls his staff he ponders..."maybe some action will happen, the night is still very young and more blood to feed me" he says as he licks his fangs and retracts them...

You asked for it then....
"I offered to play nice and this is how you are going to treat me? Okay warlock, I guess it takes two to tango," Jade replied.
Jade jumped over to the area first sending arrows towards the warlock. A direct hit of arrows struck the warlock right into his shoulder just grazing his collarbone. Jade let out a sly smile knowing she was able to at least hit him with one. Although shevwas dressed still in club attire, she was able to move swiftly with him. Everytime he moved away from her she struck back with the fighting styles she grew up to know. He was quick but she was finally able to pin him tightly against the wall. She leaned in face to face with him happy she was able to catch him.
"Look your a handsome guy but let's stop mow okay. Just come with me so that you don't piss me off and I have to deliver you damaged to The Clave," she said touching his face.

Away
I felt the bite of her arrows sever muscle and strike my shoulder, before allowing her to pin me up against the wall.
She was pissed? Good, it made those autumn colors sing and I soaked them up as she pressed close, memorizing the allure of these lights.
The power of the shadowhunters...I wanted it.
I pivoted in her hold and struck with my palm, kinetic energy rippling from my undamaged limb and throwing her back across the rooftop.
"Sorry golden one, but I'm calling it a night."
I traced my katana and drew its essence down into my left arm and held it poised with the aid of my right. Power built in blinding intensity when I frowned.
Something was off, the lines of energy were distorted.
The arrows, damn it, I was rune-poisoned. I tried to recall the power but it wouldn't have it.
My eyes fixated on her and I roared, "Run! Get away from here!" Just as azure light exploded with a concussive burst and the world faded to blue frost.

Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
Xilas was walking out of a coffee shop one of his pack members owns after one of their monthly pack meetings. It had gone well like usual but something was troubling him two of his members didn't show which never happened.
"I wonder where Selena and Grik were tonight its not like them to to miss the meeting like this" Xilas says to himself
Instantly he smells the air, he smells very distinct it smelled like one oh his pack mates.
"Dammit i bet it was Grik, he probably got into another fight with someone"
Xilas looks around sees all the people and enters an alleyway, sees no one around and transforms into his wolf form and runs to the roof of the building he was next to. Xilas sniffs the air and knows exactly where the smell is coming from 2 miles south of where he currently was. Looks at all the roofs to see if he can jump his way there, notice he can't but runs down the fire escape and runs from alleyway to alleyway and gets to the roof that the blood was coming from looked for a fire escape and found it. He transforms back to human form runs up the stairs
"Grik you up here buddy."
walks around and sees the hole in the roof
"Great what happened hea- Oh great it's you again damn warlock"

Damn it
I rose shakily, well aware that shrapnel as well as the damn arrows were lodged within my body. After that spell I was utterly drained and had no power left to heal myself with. I stumbled through the smoke and collapsed on to my hands and knees. I didn't see that woman anywhere, and something inside me mourned her loss, but I would not trade my freedom for her.
Footsteps approached and I looked up to find Xilas grimacing and I sighed.
Could this night get any worse?
"What are you doing here pup?

"I told you never to call me pup again i'm an alpha werewolf i am no pup." Xilas growls at Alerion and looks at him.
"You don't look so um good there Alerion and also i thought that you were one of my pack mates i smelled the blood and came running to help"
Xilas started thinking.
Well if he's here then where is Grik. He started getting nervous
"So would you like some help there warlock there is an arrow sticking out for your arm if you would like i can pull it out for you:

No other choice
"Why would you come running at the smell of my blood, of all people?" I grimaced. I stood and rested a hand on his shoulder trying to get my bearings.
"Leave the wound pup, we need to get out of here before the mundane police show up, not to mention this isn't a suitable place to tend to wounds."
Why was he here? And more importantly, why was I having to rely on him yet again.
Had he grown even larger since I'd seen him last?
"Take care of us pup."

"Where we going I don't know where you live"
Xilas ran from alleyway to alleyway so no Mundane and would see anything
"What happened oh and by the way you're going to owe me again after this"

Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
Just as Endymion went to reach for a slice of pizza (he still acts human even though he has no real point to anymore)
CRASH!!
Down through his roof comes a falling body and lands on his table. "Damnit, for me to order delivery around these parts is rare, look there is a door, if you want to hunt me use th-wait a moment..."
He walks over to the body and notices its a female who is unconscious on the broken table, he slowly walks over to her to move her to a more comfortable spot and blood drips onto his hand as she twitches a bit as if she is regaining consciousness, as he sets her down he looks, "Blood...she seems quite wounded," he whispers.
As he licks the blood and sees her wake up for a moment...as she looks around and curses herself muttering
"This can't be," he gasped, "Jade?"
His look of astonishment and shock flowed through him faster than the blood he fed upon during his usual hunt...

Time To Make A Move
The last thing she remembered was flying into the air hitting something hard directly. Did she go through the building? She felt someone touch her neck too; did someone just lick her?! She needed to get her body back moving but how. She was hurt and she knew it but she had to gather all the energy in her to get up. Her body was weary but, she finally got her hands to set on what seemed to be a wooden surface. As she stood up her vision was blurry and the place smelt of what seemed to be pizza; did she crash into someone's home? When she looked up she saw a face; a face that she thought she would never see again in her life.
"En...E...Endymion...?"
"En...E...Endymion...?"
Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
Petrified by the shock seeing his former parabatai face to face for the first time in years. "Jade, it really is you?"
Endymion uttered as he dropped to his knees.
"Oh how I missed you, I wanted to see you much sooner and well with a better circumstance than you 'dropping in' literally..."
As he said this he saw her eyes fade to an almost lifeless glaze as if she wasn't conscious again and her stance seemed a bit wobbly as if she was about to collapse.
"Jade!" Endymion shouts as he runs over to catch her with his vampiric reflexes, "c'mon lets get you bandaged up..."
He gets ready to pick her up and bring her to his bed, to bandage her wounds and be more comfortable than a pizza covered table thats broken in two...

No good
I touched a hand to his forehead, projecting the location we needed to be.
"I doubt that blast killed my falling leaves assassin woman, we can't stay there too long she will undoubtedly find me, and with my magick out of control she might have a 10% chance of killing me."
I clung tightly to his fur, my vision swimming as the posion began catching up to me.
Damn the angels why did they have to be so damn evil.

Is this all real?
He picked her up just like he used to when she fell during trainee days. Sadly, it wasn't like the old days for
Jade. Endymion was cold and she not hear his heartbeat like old times. She closed her eyes in sadness that he was helping her out like this. She knew being here was bad and that if The Clave knew she was here with him she would be in major trouble. They warned her of her status when she refused to kill her parabatai when he transitioned to a vampire. The Silent Brothers knew she had a heart of gold back then. Now her heart was as cold as winter and she hated to feel so weak.
She watched as he bandaged her up; he was much different to her now as well. He didn't have his chestnut colored hair anymore, it was now a mixture of red and blue. His complexion wasn't as strong anymore and sang of death and his eyes were now the color of amethyst. This was not the Endymion she remembered and it bothered her so much. He finished bandaging her up and she watched as he put the supplies away. Her body scrunched up on the edge of the bed as she looked down to the floor.
"Dammit that Warlock got away," she grumbled, "And you...after two years...we meet again. The Clave is gonna kill me after tonight."

Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
Xilas saw the warlocks mansion in his head and knew the quickest and safest why there.
"Who said i was helping you after i drop you off there you can take care of yourself i don't need to baby sit you"
Xilas really didn't want to be around the warlock more then he had to although Alerion owed him now for saving his life yet again.
"So why were you in a fight if i may ask?'
Xilas continued to run as fast as he could to the mansion weaving in and out of back alley staying out of anyones sight

Fine
"I never expected you to stay pup, don't cast me in with the friendship crew you beasts are so fond of, and as for tonight, its just the usual, people trying to kill me, or take my power, its always this way for warlocks, we are born weapons, and we either die by them, or live as them.""
The world was very simple, you are alone, and that is the end of it.
I could see my home coming in to view and I licked my lips, craving the energy that the ley line convergence beneath it would grant me. In my home no one could take me. That was a trick that Aiden... no never mind.
Zephyris, my shadow, go forth and scout ahead, see to it no is waiting for us.
I felt the familiar strain of being disconnected from him wrack my body but It was fine, I was already in more than enough pain, a little more meant nothing at this point.
"Pup, feel free to throw my limp body at my door, that is your style when it comes to me anyways."
Even though part of me wanted him to stay.
