The Turn Around!
Victor was amazed at Alerion's speed and ability to dodge his attack. "Quick on your feet ehh?"
Alerion's shockwave hit's Victor's back. His shirt begins to tear slightly from the blast and pushes him forward away from Alerion. <AHH!>
"Letsss sssee you get away from this one!"
Victor using the thrust from the shockwave grips the ground with his right claw and swings himself around 180 degrees. As he is turning, he charges his left claw and uses the perpetual motion to thrust a Lightning Slash back at Alerion in mid-air and continues towards the edge of the ruined balcony.

Fight Continued
I barely managed to parry the lightning strike with my katana, altering its trajectory but it cut across my chest and searing agony bit into me.
"Been wondering when you would come after me Vessel," I called out to him as I fell, arms spread wide as I smirked.
I solidified the air beneath me and shifted my center of gravity to stand suspended in the air.
"Oh infinitesimal air," I turned my palms heavenward, "Become the sanguine blade of destruction."
The air whistled as it reformed into great arching scythes all around me.
I slashed with my hand and they obeyed, converging upon Victor as I sprinted forward, chanting even faster.
"By the stipulation of this blood's promise, tear away the veil and release the moonlight!" Silvery light flowed from my katana, doubling it in size as I dug in my left boot and spun, slashing with renewed adrenaline.

Blade for Blade
Noticing the freezing in mid-air, Victor begins to prepare himself for an attack. As Alerion strikes forward, Victor leaps to the ceiling to thrust his body forward.
Barely missing the attack, Victor suffers drawback from the slash and feels his skin being torn from blades of wind. It's like he takes the air itself and makes it into a blade, not bad
While gliding overhead, Victor digs his claws into the ceiling, rubble begins to fall. As Victor grinds into the ceiling to slow himself down for a counter towards Alerion's back, he replies to Alerion "Ive just been waiting for an actual reason to get outside."
Victor flips and pushes away from the ceiling, a flow of blue blood begins to run from Victor's cuts from the force. He hurls towards Alerion's back for another lethal Lightning Strike from his claws.

lets end this
I felt the air ripple as he came into close proximity. Predictable, yet another charge.
At the last instant just when he thought I didn't know where he was, I drew low to the floor then propelled myself upward with as much force as I could muster, driving my palm into his abdominal. I released a concentrated jet stream of air as I did and redirected my scythes to trace his flight.
"Now Zephyris! Manifest!"
At my side he reappeared, having lain in wait after sending him to watch after Xilas for my signal. I grabbed my katana at its middle and curbed the silvery light just right that my weapon now held the form of a bow.
I aimed straight up at Victor and Zephyris became a single emerald arrow that I held with utmost reverence.
I pulled back and the drawstring brushed my cheek, silvery light that felt like refreshing water as it met my flesh.
I exhaled slowly and released.
Never will I be weak again.

I'm hopeless...
A Few Weeks Back
“Jade we feel that you have done so well lately. You are like a spy on the downworlders and our leader Saverthas you know how he feels when you complete your missions.”
The council was talking to Jade about all her hard work and she sat back into her chair with a sly smile. She knew she was one of their best hunters and to hear them calling her name in glory only fed to her dark ego. A smile here and there came across her face and winks were also exchanged to a few of the other members who praised her. She knew that from this moment on The Ravenscar name was back on the map; if only her parents lived to see the day when this happened. They continued to speak of upcoming missions for her and what Saverthas would want her to do. She played with her hands and nails as they continued to say the new upgraded weapons she would get for upcoming missions.
“So Lightwood...you believe that I can take down the bad guys. Then you got it. Just give me the best weapons and you’ll have the creatures taking down one by one.”
“I believe you can do anything you want to Jade.”
As the rest of The Clave highest members left the room it was just Tyler and Jade left in the room. He asked her how she was doing since Endymion’s departure two years earlier. She said she was over it now and he was just a thought from then. He was buried in the past just like how her parents were. She knew that working with Tyler only got her name higher in the Shadow Hunters Ranking. Tyler came from a long line of popular Lightwoods' and they were always close to The Clave so wrapping herself around him was the perfect thing she could do. She gave him what he wanted every night and in return he gave her the ultimate missions. She knew deep down he loved her too and they would do anything for each other.
“I hear next week you are going to have your biggest mission yet.”
“Oh am I now….should we prepare for it,” she said biting at his neck playfully.
“Perhaps we should right now….”
THE PRESENT
The Two Warlocks were battling each other leaving Jade, Endymion, and the wolf to just watch from the sideline. Jade’s heart beat heavily in her chest as she backed away from any opposing danger. Now she was starting to put the pieces together; it was a suicide mission from The Clave all along. She couldn’t believe it that she was the pawn all along to the clave. Tyler of all people too put her into this. She was always warned that Lightwoods were a shady family but, never would she imagine it to shape out like this. Her heart ached and she knew that she was going to die here. All her years of training, her sacrifices...it would end here tonight.
The Storm Strikes
Victor gets redirected upward back towards the ceiling, right above Alerion. The shearing pain from taking that last hit rips through Victor's body. The feeling of pain had escaped him and he began to smile as he ascended.
"Heh <grins>, I guess you haven't been outside lately have you, Vorscythe?"
As the Ceiling that had taken a beating for the worst begins to collapse and presents to Alerion's eyes A Thunderous storm that has been going on since Victor entered the manner.
"I haven't used any spells because I was too busy channeling this the whole time..."
The Sky begins to Light up as lightning begins to reign down towards Victor.
"Halzapher! Eradicate! Celestial Blast!!"
The biggest blast of lightning ever seen crashes down over Victor as it's focused straight at Alerion.

Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
*Thump thump, thump thump* The sound of a heavy heartbeat echoed in Endymion's ears, his vampiric hearing caught the sound nearby as he saw Jade sink to her knees with her beautiful color fading from her face, she went pale, almost as pale as himself.
"Jade? Whats wrong?" Endymion rushed to her side, his hands embraced hers as he tried to look in her eyes which seemed dark and faded, as if her soul had been leached out and left a distant stare. He didnt want to neglect the werewolf because he still had a vendetta against him...but fighting now in this battle of the warlocks was not safe for anyone so his new priority...keep Jade safe. Both warlocks had power, and a lot of it, and with that he thought to himself. ..tread carefully when trying to convince him to come to the Clave.
"Jade please answer me, what is wrong? You look like you saw a ghost and usually you aren't phased by it..." He grips her hand waiting to see if she grips back as a small response to assure him she was still with him...

STOP IT!
As Jade had zoned out into the past the warlocks battle intensified now causing what seemed to be upcoming destruction of this mansion. She could hear Endymion telling her to snap out of it and she could feel him against her. She shook herself back into reality giving him a shove to the chest. She hated that he treated her as if she was weak. She was fully capable of taking care of herself; she just let her day dream get to her. She was sick of this...she needed to get that warlock even if it meant death.
" I GOT THIS! STOP TREATING ME LIKE I AM LITTLE! I'VE GROWN UP NOW! HANDLE THAT WEREWOLF! I NEED TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO THAT WARLOCK!" she screamed.
Well played
I watched as the world above became a spear of brilliant white light and descended towards me.
Once more the heavens were mocking me, casting down condemnations on a life I didn't choose to be born to. Well played Victor, you're going to kill us all.
"Zephyris! Revert and shield!" I ordered.
I threw out my hands and created a barrier that resembled violet glass around me and turned and projected one around Xilas as well. Zephyris encircled me with a howling cloak of winds as the arrow collided with the bolt of lightning and the energy detonated with a concussive blast that pounded through my bones as I was hurled backwards. The magnitude of power ripped through the manor with a vicious explosion that reverberated through the entire house.

Xilas watched as the fight unfolded in awe at the raw power the two warlocks had, then the newcomer did something crazy as the room exploded into bright light and Xilas felt a shield around him from Alerion he figured
"What in the hell was that what the hell happened, also vamp I really don't think this is the time for us to fight but hear me I will kill you once it is time for us to fight I will not let you live"

Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
Endymion backs up from Jade, defeated yet again. 2 years go by and she is different than he remembered. She could always handle herself he knew that, but he always tried to be there for her for when she did lose her cool. He did this out of compassion, not just as her parabatai or training partner, but something more. But he never had the courage to tell her, nor the chance...he felt much more towards her and after 2 long years apart, maybe he never will truly get the chance...only time and fate will decide that. Now as he turned around from Jade giving her space, debris, destruction, it all happened here in tje main foyer, Victor and Alerion duked it out to a stalemate...this power, it brought fear into the Vampire...he hopes to not fight them at all cause it will not end well...
Endymion clenching his weapons and brushing some of the debris off he turns to the wolf, "Listen here Fido, you can try and kill me. You won't be the first to try, 2 years I have lurked in the shadowy solitude that is my curse. I may not have a beating heart, nor am I a true shadowhunter anymore but my soul still burns with a passion to fight." he exclaimed, "Even if it kills me completely, I always do my best to not lose especially to lycans like you!" His fury was beginning to get the best of him...usually how he wins his fights, no sense of proper motives he just lets loose but he had to keep calm for now cause he would become the monster he hated in front of the disoriented Jade and make more of a mess of the Warlock's estate...

Now You're Mine
The sounds of Thunder slowly dispersing throughout the night sky as rubble still falls around Victor and Alerion. The entire room has been destroyed from that last blast. Dust and smoke clouds begin to clear away as Victor opens his eyes to seeing the sky and himself lying within a pile of rubble.
Thank you Halzapher...
As he gains consciousness, Victor stands to see Alerion exhausted and still lying within a crater made from his last stand of defense. The golden orbs lye on the ground destroyed from the Celestial Blast as well at the gauntlets shattered from channeling the Lightning.
After all of that, he's still alive...good. Now it's time to take what I need.
Victor struggles to stand as his body begins to give out on him. The wounds run deep and the illusion spell's beginning to fade away as he starts to limp towards the crater where Alerion resides feeling completely drained.
"...Alerion...you are a worthy opponent...and a powerful Warlock...but I'm sorry I have to do this..."
Victor leans over and begins to draw a spell circle around Alerion out of blood from the wounds by the Windscythe.
"I need your powers...to complete my mission in life...to free Halzapher..."
Victor raises his bloody hands as he's about to start chanting the ritual; he begins to shed tears from his eyes.
"...Forgive me..."

NO!
Jade knew that Victor was going to get away with Alerion if she didn’t do something. But what could she do exactly she didn’t have such extensive powers as these gentlemen before her had. She knew that if she tried to attack them too she could risk her life and everyone in the room; anyone could snap at any moment. She was a Shadow Hunter not a downworlder so she took a deep breath and continued to analyze her situation.
Jade you got this...don’t let them intimidate you, she thought.
She looked back at her former parabatai and the wolf; they were still raging at each other so they were of no use. She looked at Victor who was doing something else to Alerion now. Was he getting ready to do another ritual of some sort?! No she could not let this happen right now; she had to stand her ground. She took it upon herself to find a gap from where the bolts blocked her earlier and she knew she had to get to Victor quickly. She ran forward making her presence known to the warlocks. She bolted through the area she stood by and tripped onto the ground because of all the damaged that was caused here. Did that really just happen to her tripping up; she shook it off and got back up. Finally she regained her composure and started to walk towards the men. Her heels now echoing and booming on the marble floor. She closed her eyes for a moment and let out a deep sigh. She grabbed his arm as quickly as she could to distract him of performing any rituals on Alerion.
“WAIT! DON’T DO THIS! I NEED ALERION!” She screamed.

Soulbound
I slowly blinked as consciousness returned to me in time to find the Vessel standing before me.
"Heh come to finish me off huh?" I was resigned to it, this world had wanted me destroyed for quite some time now, and I was too tired to fight it until I realized the ritual he was casting.
"No..." I coughed blood as I gasped in horror at what he was going to do. He wasn't going to kill me, he intended to unmake me, to take away all that I was, a fate worse than any perceivable notion of whatever it was death really was.
Don't forget me.
I won't go back, I will never go back, don't let them hurt me again.
There was nothing left for me to do.
I grasped his arm, "I can't allow this, this is the lesser of two evils."
Where I touched him was intended, as I drew the azure blood from his body and drew it into a symbol fused with my blood seeping across the ground beneath me. My symbol, the interconnectivity of the universe imbibed.
"Darkness fade to light, light illuminate into darkness, destiny's threads intertwine and become the fate I weave."
The blood formed a perfect circle around us and a wracking cough seized me as my essence was drawn from me, and I breathed in Victor's and something precious was forever lost to me, to be gained by something I was never supposed to have."
"Soulbound..." I wheezed, eyeing him grimly.

Seraphiel
My arms outstretched as I allowed my pearlescent wings to span their length as I fell through the sky. My hair cascaded upwards to tickle my cheeks. Crystalline liquid flowed from my eyes and I didn't understand the reaction. There was a heaviness to my chest, as If something was missing, something I had lost. I reached for God deep within my core where I was invincible and the light responded, streams of light spiraling from my hands.
I knew I had made the right decision, he hadn't abandoned me.
"I won't fail."
Where I fall is where I shall begin my stand, I will allow the slipstream of destiny to guide me to where I am needed. I drifted and began to lose track of time. There were moments where I believed I'd been falling for millennia, and then others where I was assured mere seconds had passed until something tangible finally arrested my attention.
A birth, the power of creation, an instance in the world below where light and dark had truly converged.
"Something new now walks the realms, and destiny has granted my wish and guided me to it."
This power I would need to fulfill my duty. I watched as the world came in to view and below me an opulent mansion lay invitingly for my arrival, a massive rough hewn window had been carved into its ceiling to herald my approach even.
This has all been preordained.

Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
Trystan approaches the now thunderstruck manor, pausing to gaze upon the devastation that had occurred only moments ago. " Well damn. I guess I'm a bit late for the fun , but I'll try and make the best of this." A smirk appears on his lips as he proceeds into the smouldering abode. Before he steps into the potential chaos, he makes sure he has the tools he needs for what may happen. He does.
As he enters, two warlocks are nearby. One almost reptilian in nature, the other somewhat normal. He can feel the raw energy in the air, almost pure chaos. It seems as though the elements themselves were forced to fight each other. In his eyes, it's almost a travesty. Scanning the room, a young girl stands nearby with two men preparing for a soon to be conflict. From the air around them, neither of them appear to be mundane or shadow hunters.
None of them really notice his entrance. Preoccupied with their own interactions with one another. Trystan clears his throat ," Good evening ladies and gentle... things!" Minimal attention is being paid in his direction. The girl is now beside the reptile warlock, yelling something incoherent. The werewolf and vampire, are becoming rather heated. Troublesome to say the least. He takes a seed from a pouch on his belt , places it on the floor and takes a deep breath. He exhales. "ENOUGH ALREADY!" With the sudden burst of energy, he molds it into life force fueling the growth of a tree. Causing itself to poke through the hole in the ceiling from earlier combat.
Standing there for a half-second he waits. Wondering as to what may happen now, he's never so freely revealed his powers before without any precautions. Let whatever may happen, happen.

Very Good
I dropped my hands and the eldritch symbols before me faded from my sight as I crossed back to my throne and sat, quite amused.
Seems my package has finally arrived, and all of them are finally together.
I glanced down at the three dead shadow hunters at my feet, their blood having been the catalyst for my invocation and sighed.
If only these things weren't so useless, If one had more blood in him I wouldn't have had to waste two other servants.
I waved a hand at them violet eldritch flames engulfed the remnants of their bodies.
I propped my arm under my chin and narrowed my eyes. Soon they will complete the circle for me and all my waiting will finally come to an end.
"Fenrir."
A shadow materialized at my side and stretched lazily, seven feet and three hundred pounds of raw muscle flexed as he rumbled, "Do I finally get to stretch my legs?"
I eyed him from the corner of my eye and said coldly, "Maul them all you like, so long as they can still walk, provide them some incentive to get their asses in motion."
He bowed, feral eyes never leaving my face.
"Time to play." With that he vanished. I held up a hand and the four crystal goblets holding only the purest of water ruptured and streamed forward into a single vertex building and building into a crystalline mirror.
"Veritas."
Two warlocks, a shadowhunter, a werewolf, a vampire, and the newly arrived angel and fey swam into view.
There was nothing more powerful in this city at the moment, I had fashioned them with great care.
I sent out a telepathic message.
Vaniael, its time, kill the first sacrifice, the wolf.
I felt a sudden resurgence of power and my eyes rolled back in my head with pleasure.
Too bad I can't be there to see that look on your face, rarely do you feel such lust. she purred in response.
My warlock had done well, she was well trained.
With that death the rift opened another margin and I would be able to call forth more powerful vassals.
I raised my hand and runes danced to life before me as I whispered an incantation.
A roar resounded in the distance as a portal winked into existence.
Being the Archdaemon had its perks.

With everything that just happened Xilas failed to notice the strange man come in but he did hear him yell and then a tree came out of the floor. Xilas looks over to the new arrival
"What and how the hell did you do that?" as Xilas looks at the tree in wonder.
Xilas starts to smell the stench of the guy ad its horrid a smell that he couldn't stand to smell he thought of reverting back to his human form.
"UGH dude you smell sorry to say but are you a half-breed of some sort?"

"Whoa! Hey Johnny Appleseed watch where you decide to plant trees, you almost impaled me with those branches and distracted me from my quarrel with Lassie over there," Endymion shouted to the new guest that interrupted his little conflict..."everytime I get ready to kick some puppy ass someone has to come barging in here and ruining it." He approaches the new unusual gentleman and sniffs around, youre not human...your blood is oddly scented...did the wolf say half-breed? Why are you here?" He then asked. Since Jade is trying to attain the Warlock and something seems to be happening there, he worries but knows she can handle herself so he now investigates the man who made a tree grow in seconds in the obliterated foyer...

Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
As the vamp started talking to the new guy Xilas feel a deep pain in his heart and in his mind he knew immediately what happened. Grik was dead he did know how or why but hey lost feeling if his life force. That was a peek of being an alpha and also a curse he could feel his entire pack but if one of them died he would feel it.
This hit Xilas hard, Grik was is most trusted friend and his second in command. They had history because Xilas was the one who turned Grik into a wolf because he found Grik in the woods dying from a bullet wound due to a hunting accident.
Before Xilas and became the alpha He and Grik didn't really get along due to Grik hating Xilas for turning him, they got into a lot of fights due to that. When the pervious alpha died and chose Xilas Grik immediately challenge Xilas to a fight for leadership which Xilas won and warned Griks respect.
When Xilas decided to make Grik his number two Grik was speechless but happy.
Xilas couldn't breathe when it hit him he didn't care who saw or what happened but he dropped down to his knees and slammed his fists to the floor and howled and roared
"GRIKKKK NOOOOOO!!" Xilas howled into the air

Re: Transcendent: The Journey Starts Here.
"I'd watch your mouth mutt." Trystan trembles a little, anger starting to set in. The wolf already began to try his nerves, purpose or not, some people need to learn manners. Despite a rising temper, the potential of entertainment was intriguing.
He turns to the vampire next, and throws back his head in laughter. "Think you have a quick wit, eh? We'll see about that."
He steps forward in a manner befitting a challenge. "Let's see here... a diseased puppy dog, and a half ass-ed zombie. I think i may have remedies for that if you'd care to partake." A quick motion of his hands, and he procures a few objects from the pouch on his belt. Unseen to his potential aggressors , of course.
Now the mongrel was screaming about something or another. An audible heavy sigh, "You things are so full of angst it's almost painful to watch."

Now the mongrel was screaming about something or another. An audible heavy sigh, "You things are so full of angst it's almost painful to watch."

The Snake In The Grass...
As Jade grabbed a hold of Victor's hand during the ritual he was giving, a shared vision of her past flowed through Victor's mind. Because of her state of mind of being frantic and emotional, Victor saw her memory of the assignment to retrieve Alerion...And What he saw brought him to his knees in fright...
"No...It can't be..."
Victor begins to shake in fear as he realizes that all of those months doing research on the The Clave of Idris years ago has just come to an answer. Victor had a theory that there was a daemon that had been working secretly in the Shadowhunter's Clans, and thanks to Jade he now has a name and a face to link his theories all together. Victor began to shake in terror.
"T-That bastard s-slipped right through my grasp!"
Victor had now realized who had imprisoned his Deity Halzapher within the Celestial plane. That is why he had been in search for power like Alerion's. He was trying to free Halzapher from his bounds and find out who was responsible for this.
"...Jade..."
Victor begins to explain to Jade about how he knows a secret about her Clan, about a wolf in sheep's clothing that has developed a perfect disguise within the Order. Someone that wanted Alerion dead so that Victor couldn't free his Lord.
"...Lucient Umbredant is...a Daemon..."

Lost
I was swept away in a rip-tide of images.
A birthday
A smile
A woman
Loss
Despair
Regret
Betrayal
And... a note.
Memories pummeled through my head and I gripped the two closest bodies beside me in a desperate attempt to anchor myself back to the world.
Something wet stained my cheek and I touched it, confused as to why blood would be-
tears? Why was I crying? I hadn't cried since Aidan-
I pressed my face to my sleeve refusing to allow anyone to see such weakness.
Until Victor's words.
Lucient Umbredant is a daemon?
The leader of the shadow hunters was a daemon? But how? How could a being of such magnitude enter the city without so much as a blimp on any supernatural's radar?
But there was no lies to be found in Victor, if not for his facial expressions, his aura was most sincere.
I turned to the golden one and saw plumes of ashen gold, as fall inevitably withered. This news... she must be devastated.
I didn't know why or how I knew that to be the utter truth, but I just knew.
And Victor... when had it happened? Was it the soulbinding? This titan of colossal power, looked vulnerable, bereaved.
The rituals I'd cast, taking so many essences what was it doing to me? Feelings were stirring inside me that should not, could not possibly be there.
My eyes shifted and I shoved them away from me with a curse as I backed up and fell, realizing my right leg was broken as I fell against Zephyris' sturdy form.
Stop, enough with all this bull shit, find clarity Alerion damn it!
I closed my eyes and the name Lucent swam through my head.
He was responsible for this...all of it. And he wanted me dead? That's what Victor had said. Had he ordered the attack on me that night? The night when Aidan...
Debris broke free from the shackles of gravity around me as If the world was now submerged within water.
I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist, blue fire burning away the sleeve of my right arm and the eldritch tattoos I'd inscribed myself on my arm flared to life as the wind reared its head like a dragon.
"Victor... you will tell me all that you know. Now."

What are you talking about?!
Jade felt a surge of energy pour through her body as she grabbed onto Victor. She knew the danger of stepping into his ritual but, it was a risk she was willing to take. She felt as if someone tossed her into the air backwards and almost as if she was never going to crash. As soon as he let go he reacted weirdly speaking nonsense about The Clave. Lucient Umbredant was a well established and strong leader to all of the Shadow Hunters. She had met him the day of her...no she couldn't think that far back into the past. Lucient was a good man and a former teacher of hers as well; he could never do wrong. For Raziel's sake what did this man this he was talking about. She pulled away from him now with a look of anger.
"What are you talking about you don't know Lucient Umbredant at all?! He is a well rounded man! He is not a Daemon!"
She shook took thinking what if this man was right....NO!...he could be trying to distract her. After all he was trying to get away with Alerion. She saw the power he was capable of creating and she wasn't sure if she could fight. She knew she might have to just to save Alerion from Victor. As her hand pulled away from Victor she shook a bit scared of what could be.
"You're all the same...trying to find the bad in us Shadow Hunters when we are the one's protecting the humans from the destruction and pain you downworlders seem to always create!"

Descent
Finally...my descent, my waiting, is over.
A large tree suddenly burst through the broken ceiling and I spiraled narrowly avoiding being impaled as I withdrew my wings and placed my hand in front of me, conjuring a shield of light as I broke through the tree top and collided into a man.
I sat up and looked down at him beneath me, realizing he was not a man, but some kind of serpentine hybrid.
"This is what mortals call...irony? A mystic tree, a serpent, and am I to play Eve?" I stood up and dusted myself off, leaving him prone upon the floor not wishing any further contact with the thing.
I looked around. "This place is a hovel, can this really be the strongest convergence of power in the city?"
I drew Balmung from my back and hefted it over my shoulder.
"Who is the leader of you brigands?"
